can't be blue announce first UK concerts in London and Manchester

Korean band can't be blue are heading to the UK for the first time, with concerts confirmed in London and Manchester this November.

The five-member band will open Beyond The Blue In Europe, their first dedicated European headline tour, at Islington Assembly Hall in London on Monday 2 November 2026. They'll then head straight to Manchester Club Academy for their second UK show on Tuesday 3 November.

From there, the tour continues through Amsterdam, Brussels, Frankfurt, Paris and Warsaw, making London the opening night of a seven-city European run.

For anyone discovering can't be blue through the tour announcement, the band formed in Seoul in 2024 and consists of vocalist Lee Dohun, keyboardist Kwon Dahyun, bassist Lee Hwuiwon, guitarist Kim Chaehyun and drummer Kim Daehun.

Their sound moves between R&B-influenced pop and rock, with the band taking a particularly hands-on approach to their music by handling songwriting, composition, arrangement and production themselves. Their name reflects the idea of acknowledging sadness without being defined by it, which carries through into the emotional tone of much of their music.

can't be blue debuted in June 2024 with “Within the words i once called love”, before continuing to build their profile through Korean music competitions, development programmes and festival appearances across Asia.

2026 has been an especially significant year for the band. Their second EP, Prussian Blue, arrived in January, continuing their blend of emotionally driven pop, R&B and rock.

They then reached further into the K-pop world in May with “can't love” featuring HAN of Stray Kids, bringing the band to the attention of plenty of listeners who may not previously have come across them through Korea's live band scene.

Most recently, can't be blue released “Fxxkin' Rockstar” on 4 September 2026, just ahead of the announcement of their European tour.

Although the London and Manchester dates will be can't be blue's first performances in the UK, they won't be the band's first time performing in Europe. Earlier this year, they made their European debut at Rock in Roma, appearing at the Italian festival before ATEEZ.

Beyond The Blue In Europe will, however, mark their first full European headline tour, with the two UK dates giving British fans their first chance to see the band live.
