What is Hallyu Doing Club?

Hallyu Doing Club is a paid private community for UK-based K-pop fans who want a cosy, welcoming place to connect, stay up to date, and feel part of something real. It’s designed to be intentional and fan-first, offering structure and care without taking the fun, excitement, and shared chaos out of loving K-pop.

Hallyu Doing Club feels like a place where we can finally have a real K-pop friend group in the UK.

Hi, I’m Katy, the person behind Hallyu Doing. I created the Club after years of seeing how hard it can be for UK K-pop fans to find real connection, especially if you go to concerts alone or don’t live near major cities. Hallyu Doing Club is my way of helping fans find each other and enjoy K-pop in a way that feels more shared and less isolating.

FAQs 💜

Here are the answers to the most common questions

  • Absolutely. You can take as much time as you like to start chatting, or choose not to at all. For online hangouts, cameras and microphones are optional unless stated otherwise, so you can join quietly and still feel involved. The community is very welcoming, and many members are in the same boat.

  • Not necessarily. Anyone is welcome to join, but the Club is UK-focused. Meetups are held in the UK, some giveaways may be UK-specific, and much of the conversation centres around UK concerts and events. If that still sounds useful or interesting to you, you’re very welcome to be part of it.

  • That’s completely fine! 😊 You’re free to use whichever parts of the Club are most useful to you and ignore the rest. Many members join primarily to stay on top of UK K-pop concerts. You can also turn on email or app notifications to get alerts when new concert news or updates are shared.

  • No. All online events and IRL meetups are entirely optional. Online events are scheduled at different times to suit different routines, and in-person meetups are spread across the UK throughout the year. You’re welcome to attend as many or as few as you like, or none at all.

  • Membership costs £5 per month. The day you join becomes your monthly renewal date. You can cancel at any time from the Billing section of your profile, and you’ll continue to have access to the Club until the end of your current billing period.

  • No. The Club is a structured community space with multiple areas for chat, updates, and events, rather than a single fast-moving group chat or Discord-style server.

  • The Club includes members from a wide range of ages and locations across the UK, all with different backgrounds and lifestyles. What brings everyone together is a shared love of K-pop and an interest in having a friendly, respectful community to enjoy it with.

  • No, not at all. While chatting with others is a great way to make connections, there’s absolutely no pressure to do so. Many members dip in and out, read along quietly, or join conversations at their own pace. The Club is there for you whenever you want it, whether that’s daily, weekly, or just occasionally.
