About oceanfromtheblue
oceanfromtheblue will return to London on Friday 12 March 2027, opening his BACK TO BLUE Europe Tour at The Courtyard Theatre. It marks his first London concert since the 2023 Way to Blue European tour, which also brought him to the UK in September of that year. BACK TO BLUE continues that relationship with European audiences almost four years later, with London serving as the opening stop before the tour travels through cities including Paris, Lisbon, Madrid, Rome, Frankfurt, Ljubljana and Amsterdam.
oceanfromtheblue is a South Korean R&B singer-songwriter who debuted in 2018 with Luv-fi. His music sits across R&B, soul, hip-hop and lo-fi influences, often centred around introspective songwriting and understated vocals rather than the performance-heavy style more commonly associated with Korean idol music. Over the years, releases including “girl”, “sherlock”, “ice cream”, “Close to You” and “Moon Walk” have helped establish him as a distinctive voice within Korea's R&B scene.
2026 has represented something of a new chapter for oceanfromtheblue. In March, he returned from a roughly two-year period away from releasing music with Luv-fi 2026, a nine-track project that concludes the Luv-fi series first started with his 2018 debut. He has continued releasing and collaborating since, including “Balade en ville” with French artist Nuit Incolore in June and “sayonara radio” with Japanese duo 7co in September. BACK TO BLUE now brings that latest phase of his career back to European stages.
