JOOYOUNG is coming back to the UK this December, and this time London isn’t the only stop.
The Korean R&B singer-songwriter will begin his 90s Kids Europe Tour at The Courtyard Theatre in London on 4 December, before returning to the UK later in the run for a show at Fuel Rock Club in Cardiff on 10 December.
And honestly, that Cardiff date is worth paying attention to.
While Cardiff has hosted Korean music before, including South Korean band Jambinai at WOMEX back in 2013, dedicated UK tour stops from Korean R&B and K-pop artists are still incredibly rare in the Welsh capital. London dominates Korean concert routing in the UK, with Manchester increasingly getting its share too, so seeing Cardiff included on a five-city European tour is a pretty notable change from the usual pattern.
It also means Welsh fans won’t necessarily have to make the familiar trek across the border just to see a Korean artist live.
For JOOYOUNG, the tour arrives just over a year after his first London headline concert in March 2025. That show at the Vauxhall Arches gave UK fans an intimate introduction to his live catalogue, from “Planet Girl” and “As I Am” to “Misfits Sunday”, and now he’s coming back with a whole new album behind him.
90s Kids was released on 8 October and sees JOOYOUNG moving further into alternative and rock territory while keeping the R&B songwriting that has shaped so much of his career. The ten-track album is officially categorised as alternative rock in Korea, making the promise of a full-band European tour feel particularly fitting.
The full tour will take JOOYOUNG through London, Amsterdam, Paris, Cardiff and Munich, with both UK shows presented by Korean London. London takes place at The Courtyard Theatre on 4 December, while the Cardiff concert lands at Fuel Rock Club on 10 December.
Tickets for both UK dates go on sale on Friday 30 October at 11AM UK time, priced at £45 for General Admission, £90 for VIP and £110 for VVIP. VIP options include either a group photo or 1:1 selfie with JOOYOUNG alongside a signed tour poster.
